How I performed in the Summer Marathon

A week before the Summer Marathon 2021, I had seen that the top 500 would get a unique trophy. I decided that would go for it.... not realizing that 25000 people would go for the trophy! I then.. unfortuantely... decided to play during my mathematics class and my mother caught me. But then I convinced her to forgive me explaining the importance of the tournament.

I played for 2-3 hours before I had a class at 6 p.m. After the class I even had a chess class and I played the marathon Throughout! At night I decided that I would go for it and asked my mom permission to stay up at night. I convinced her and I woke up at 2 in the midnight to play. I was actually allowed permission to just play till 3.am, but since my mom fell asleep, I played till the end

And now for the results....( Drumroll beats)

I finished 478th with 529 points!! I was extremely happy and was waiting for my trophy. Then I realized... that I would not actually get the trophy. It would just be in my profile picture. I was a bit unhappy but still extremely pleased with my performance.

I played 377 bullet games that day, the most I have ever played in a day. Ever. I faced many titled players and surprisingly, My win rate was exactly 50%! I had a performance rating of 2155.
I hope to do the same thing in the autumn marathon, however its blitz with increment so maybe I wont do it.
