Mouse response in blitz play - not waiting for release

I am having a recurring problem, only in the last couple of days, where a move is accepted before I release my mouse button. I tried to recreate it with Stockfish and it didn't happen, so I don't think it's suddenly a hardware issue with my mouse. The result is I move a piece fewer blocks than attempted or move my king over one space instead of castling. Could this be due to any known issues - e.g. connection issues? Is anyone else having this problem?

Hi. I am not experiencing any such problems in blitz/bullet/ultrabullet. I think it is probably due to your connection issues. The only reason I can think of is that, you are holding the mouse lightly. Hold it firm so that moves aren't automatically played due to loose-contact problems. I don't think this really helps but this is the best solution i can think of. Hopefully, your problem gets solved soon.
