Not sure how this is possible. Maybe its a bug and has gone unreported but its very frustrating on move 39 to have 6 seconds on the clock and your opponent has 00.8 seconds and they win on time on move 43. Game in question. lichess.org/nJ24qda7

Indeed it is very frustrating, but premoves on lichess take 0 seconds away from your clock

Lichess is not planning to change how premoves work.
