Diagonal Moves Only Chess
This is for players, who want to try playing, a variant, in which only diagonal moves are possible.
The criteria for the starting position of this variant are as follows
- One player has 32 bishops that are all on the same colored squares.
- The player who has 32 bishops of the on the same colored squares, is allowed to either exactly have 5 queens, or exactly 5 additional bishops, but all movable pieces, with the exception of the king must be of the same type.
- The player who does not have the 32 bishops on the same colored squares is only allowed to have exactly 5 bishops plus the king.
- The starting position must be rotationally symmetric with respect to the pieces that can actually move.
- The starting position must be one, in which the player to make the first move has no legal captures available on the first move.
- The starting position must be one, in which the player to make the first move has no legal checks available on the first move.

Note that all possible starting positions in this variant are symmetric to each other as ones, in which the player with 32 bishops on the same colored squares, has 5 queens, are equivalent to ones, in which that player has 5 additional bishops as the queens can only move like bishops.
