Is cheating disappeared from Lichess?

I'm always impressed by how poor many opponents are at end games. They often get beaten by little me.
No G, it's not that, read the rules about returning points from cheating 1) it is returning to first 40 players only 2) it is returning only to those who s rating considered as trustfull 3) it is returning only if you don't have big changes on rating due some perioud of time as I recall
and btw I ve had 2 notifications 2 days ago , I ve gained points back , was Happy about It
@Lez1995 something you need to take into account is playing strengh.
Most cheaters are filtered out of the system after a few games. Ratings upwards of 2200 are less affected because far fewer cheaters make it to that point undetected so part of the reason you notice them less than 2 years ago is because you gained a few hundred points.
Cheating has not disappeared anywhere. That's why I only play the bullet. Do you want to play with cheaters? This is your wish
Thank you to everyone who take his time to answer.

I wanted to add that i also play on other chess platforms (other chess platforms?) and i do really find Lichess more friendly and fair.

At the very least the amount of new accounts made every day is way less here than elsewhere, which means the chance to face the brand new ''made 10 minutes ago'' account is much smaller.

And we all know that when too many new accounts playing at higher ratings are made everyday, not everyone of them is gonna be a good boy.

My dream for online chess is to be able to play longer time controls to improve, games of 10-15 minutes and more, if possible even with increment.

For now i don't think we are quite there but who knows, maybe one day it is gonna be possible. For the moment i try avoid going high with the clock, you never know if alpha zero shows up.
If you don't report, you receive no notifications. The more you report the more notifications you receive. It's all relative , I very rarely report like I used to cause I'm usually wrong lol ........ No reports ......no notifications ,as far as I can tell, but I'm a lot less paranoid these days and a win from your opponent a win , unless it's really obvious that no matter what move you made would have made no difference and you run out of ideas cause they like a machine. But then I am drunk most the time, playing ,it's how I enjoy my nights xxx but if I was being paranoid then cheaters are using the engine very sporadically like only when it gets to the crux in the game and that's very difficult for anyone to detect xxx what once ,every ten moves to tip the scale back in your favour?? The cheaters are getting cleverer ,sporadic use is the worst but I'm no longer paranoid about it and try to enjoy my victories more xxx the less you worry about cheaters , greater is your enjoyment of the game and your victories xxx peace up xxx
Of course cheating still happens. Lichess is great at catching it though. I got a refund on points from a game I played the other day. The part that impressed me is that I wasn't at all suspicious of this player. I didn't even think to report. The game seemed normal. I just assumed I played a strong opponent who knew the opening better, I was always a bit worse, and got outplayed. Apparently they had some help though. To me, that is a testament to the outstanding anti-cheat systems. Thanks to the Lichess team for working so hard and keeping chess fair
