Is the gap between lichess and chess.com increasing or decreasing?

Lichess undoubtedly is a better website in terms of quality. But curiously Chess.com leads lichess.org in the number of users. Given that Naka and his crew pulling impressive numbers on twitch, I am afraid that lichess.org is losing out the battle. So can anyone put some data on how the competition is shaping up?

Isn't lichess non-profit ? I don't think they care about competiton as long as they have a good functionning website ^^.

Thing is... When new players want to start playing, what do they do? They type chess into google and the first thing that comes up is chess.com. That is the one that they are going to click, right?
You don't have to really worry about lichess not having enough players. I have never had to wait long to get a game and there is always someone my level here to play.
