Takeback time

I never ask for takebacks, but in casual games I often give/offer takebacks when my opponent hangs a piece, cause after all it is not my aim to win by a blunder. I prefer to play an interesting game.

Sometimes it takes a while till my opponent realizes why I offer a takeback, even if I tell in chat BxQ or something like that.
I suggest to set back the time as well, to the amount which was left before that move.
Right now the player who offers a takeback to the player who blundered is punished by loosing time for a friendly gesture.
If your opponents clock would start running when you offer a takeback it would become an abusive mechanic to gain a time advantage. If your time would be stopped when offering a takeback it would be a fine way to gain time and think about the best move in blitz games.
TLDR: It should stay the way it is to restrict abusement.
I am not talking about stoping time or something like that.
The "reset" of time should only happen if takeback is accepted.
When giving a takeback I want the exact situation as before including position and time.
Right now only the position is set back.
It should give back the time that was used for a position that "never happened".

Same by the way applies to this scenario:

Player A moves.
Player B thinks.
Player A asks for takeback.
Player B is friendly and accepts.
Player A moves.
Player B has to think about a new position and already wasted time on a position that "never happened".

Again the friendly gesture is punished.
I agree, since lichess stores the move times anyway this shouldn't be too difficult. It just makes the takeback a bit less useless.
