Maybe it is just me, but how do we see the highest rated lichess online database? The highest games I get are around 2500. How do I view the 3000+ GM lichess games? Thanks!
Nice year for lichess!
This looks very promising! It's great that lichess runs on a surplus budget.
"Our average donation is of 5.64€ - Lichess is grassroot funded!" - this is great, and it's an amount at about what I expected
"About 0.3% of our active userbase donate" - I find this a bit sad. I thought it would be at least 1%?
"Donors from the US and Germany make up over 50% of our donations" - That's surprising. It would be interesting to see a list of the top ten countries of donations.
And about Twitter:
I find it interesting that we made a Mastadon account, it's good to be in a diverse set of social media. As someone who loves freedom and free speech however, I find twitter a much better place after Elon took over the company, as it seems to be a lot more supportive of free speech for everyone, especially when it comes to politics, and a lot more transperant in how it operates and moderates.

Wow this is very cool!
I find it a bit funny that after a long block of writing you guys included “oh we added a new ai cheat detection” I felt like that was a bit understated
Great blog though! Looking forward to the opening explorer feature especially and everything else
Cheers to a new year!

Two wishes for 2023 on Lichess:
1. More theme tournaments, so that one can practise openings better.
2. A way to see your best-played games (from all time) based on the engine.
Thank you for everything so far and let's have a beautiful future collaboration <3
