I find AI level one pretty hard

not that I'm any good-on the contrary...but it's a challenging computer opponent. yep. pretty sure it's better than 850.

Add 500 Points and you get the range.

Yeah even low AI isn't easy. I just won a 5/0 against lvl 2, but I had only a few seconds left on the clock where it had 4:53 left.
