What do you think of this puzzle's rating?

http://en.lichess.org/training/31475

Today I tried some puzzles and as usual I prefer to solve hard puzzles. But this puzzle seems pretty simple, it took me less than one minute to look at all the chessboard to verify there was not some hidden rook or knight protecting white's pieces and finally no trap at all, simple solution... Usually I take at least 300 seconds to solve a hard puzzle and I was surprised about this one.

What do you think? Can it be there because of some mistake??
Jesus yeah that's massively over rated I think.

Some 1800s give me headaches and I found the move in 80 seconds. I'm in the same boat as you on this one, but thanks for the rating points ;)
Yes I was happy too to get some points so easily for once. :)

It does not happen very often with hard puzzles.
#3 No offence but how's your training rating so high and your actual game ratings so average? Never seen such a big disparity.
I don't know, maybe it has to do with time management and a poor knowledge of the openings, so sometimes I fall into traps from the beginning of the game. And my first idea is usually not the best move, I have to take some time to calculate.

I have been playing chess actively only for a few months (when I came here on lichess), so I am not at all a professional player and I can make big blunders at any time in the game, I guess. Also I have lost many bullet games on time and even classical ones because I took too much time to calculate a position in the middle of the game.
There's something wrong with this puzzle...
I'm rated 1200 in tactics and I solved it in 14 SECONDS.
To be completely honest with you, I failed the puzzle. I went for Rxf1 which leads to a mate in 1 after Qxf1. I did not give it too much thought. I seemed like a fancy fun move and I went for it.

Maybe the difficulty of this puzzle lies not in the calculation, but rather on your focus when it comes to selecting the best move.

Why did I not saw Qxf1# right away? Maybe because I love to sacrifice a lot, and I'm most of the time very impulsive. I guess I tend to look for sacrifices first, then simple captures.

Also the Queen is hanging to there might be a big number of players you chose that move right away.

Hope that was good English.

Nice puzzle anyways.
Solved in 3 seconds ! :)
Rxf1+ Qxf1 (only move) Qh2#

Erhmm, wait. The solution is Qxf1# checkmate in 1

Ouch.
No problem HereComesTheBlunder, I think your english is totally okay.

So I guess this puzzle is so high rated because people play too fast. They see they can capture the queen or a checkmate in 2 moves and then they don't look at better solutions? I usually play puzzles quite carefully and slowly but perhaps a lot of people see a move and go for it if it looks like a winning move.
